Until this (above) message you were using Shredder which was an *alpha*
#3 release of Thunderbird way back in *February* *2008*. It is now
October 2010.
In this response you are now using TB v3.0.9 which is the latest, and
up-to-date, release. Congratulations! :-)
There is NO need to "fix" Thunderbird. Thunderbird simply does the
correct threading - without any interference.
I've been using TB since it was knee-high to grasshopper and it has
always behaved the same; I have never had to "fix" anything.
