Brightness issue on lucid lynx

sorry for the late reply, I wasn't able to reply...
adding the brightness applet helped and now I am able to adjust the
brightness by that but the Fn+F6 and F7 still dont work.... I think they may
be adding the bug and working on it on the future updates.... as my
colleague has the Compaq CQ series laptop and it works fine on it (same
version of LUcid)...


and I guesss this mail can be mark as solved!
