How can I set not to log on the console undre ubuntu 10.04?? i inserted a livecd on a pc, and i need the console, but i just can't do anything, because it gives a log messages, about 2/second....i can't edit a file with vim, because the log messages are there to!!! :O please help how to turn logging to the console off!! :( thank you
