I believe you need a dose of reality. 1) The OP is not a decision maker,
2) he can hardly attempt to run samba4 alpha13 which will probably not
support everything his employer wants like Exchange and 3) he is not
talking about he needing to implement AD but that his computer needs to
work with the AD that his IT Dept will be implementing.
But it would be nice if Mariano can convince his IT Dept to roll out
samba4 alpha13 to be an AD controller and samba 3.5.6 file/printer
servers and watch their licensing fees drop like a stone. Of course, be
prepared to have Microsoft on your backs as soon as they get the wind of
it when the company backs out of the Windows Server and CAL purchases.
