Hello,
Initially I had problems with network with Ubuntu 10.10 that got resolved by
disabling
ipv6 and blacklisting ipv6 manually.
Things were working fine, till I installed sshd and tightvnc on my machine
and now
all network connections are lost.
The ethernet card is detected and I am able to ping yahoo.com and
google.com( albeit
too slowly), but firefox, ssh, sftp they don't work I suspect something must
have
happened to ipv6 setting somewhere, but I cann't figure out what could have
changed
while installing sshd and vncserver ?
Can someone help ?
Mir
