Hello,<br><br>Initially I had problems with network with Ubuntu 10.10 that got resolved by disabling<br>ipv6 and blacklisting ipv6 manually.<br><br><br>Things were working fine, till I installed sshd and tightvnc on my machine and now<br>
all network connections are lost.<br><br>The ethernet card is detected and I am able to ping <a href="http://yahoo.com">yahoo.com</a> and <a href="http://google.com">google.com</a> ( albeit<br>too slowly), but firefox, ssh, sftp they don't work I suspect something must have <br>
happened to ipv6 setting somewhere, but I  cann't figure out what could have changed<br>while installing sshd and vncserver ?<br><br>Can someone help ?<br><br>Mir<br>
