Frameless, translucent chat utility

Heyas all,

I'm looking for a chat window that will take up a minimum of space and
attention, but I am having a hard time finding one.  Let us see if I'm just
missing the obvious.  Requirements are:

Translucence
Frameless
able to interface with Google Chat

Platform is Gnome on Ubuntu 10.10

Anyone with any ideas?
