you are definately not the first :)
have a look at [1] which is a duplicate of [2] which in turn is
connected to an upstream linux bug [3]
(486 comments on the second bug dont seem to me like you are completely
alone, if you would have filed a bug in the first place the logic in
launchpad that compares logs would have very likely directed you to one
of the two launchpad bugs to leave a comment there)

[4] has some info on how to file bugs, if you notice a regression with
your hardware (i.e. networking) after an upgrade, using:
"ubuntu-bug linux"
as described in the doc is always a good start.
