PC does not recognize live CD

Hmmm. I have not had the live CD problem on my hardware but I have heard
reports from friends that they don't work on some hardware and knowledgeable
people have reported problems in diagnosing the problem. Hiding bootup
detail doesn't help matters.

I did find the cdromupgrade script on the alt CD broken - it asks for a CD
label other than that on the iso.

There is a plethora of complaints about Lucid. Hopefully the 10.04.1 release
will reduce the noise. Replacing Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt with Love,
Enthusiasm and Faith should be our goal.
