Acer Aspire AS7740-6498 a decent choice for a ubuntu laptop?

Try to find a laptop with an NVIDIA graphics card. NVIDIA graphics cards
are the only ones that have no problems with Linux, all others graphics
cards have issues with Linux.
I am using an Acer 8920G laptop and it works out of the box with Ubuntu
9.10 x64.
