I recently upgraded 4 desktop machines and encountered a few minor
irritations that I would like to resolve, hence this request for comment.
On a couple of the machines I was able to install the "Crux" desktop
theme, but it is not available on the other two, nor can I find it via
Google and it doesn't appear to be packaged for apt-get access. Can
anyone help; I rather like the physical design and I can live with the
lilac colour scheme.
On all machines there appears to be no linkage between Firefox and
Thunderbird, so that selecting to "Browse All Add-ons" in TBird produces
no discernible effect.
GRUB 2 is still a work in progress and has reverted to not saving the
last used environment and always offers to boot the top entry in
grub.cfg. This is obviously just a script issue and I will enjoy
cracking it, but it's mentioned here for general interest.
One of my machines displays a dialogue box during logon saying that
Power Manager is still running. A pointer to where this originates would
be welcomed.
Thanks in advance.
