You may be able to receive Freeview using an internal aerial depending
on where exactly you live. Best to ask at a good local shop (probably
not at one of the big sheds, but who knows)

You can use the BBC iplayer without any extra hardware. Same probably
goes for the various services operated by the other channels but I
haven't used them.
