EEEPC 1005 microphone does not work

Hi guys,

I installed the Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10 in my EEEPC 1005 and everything
works perfectelly except the microphone, which is not capting the sound though
the O.S. tells that it is working. I can't record nothing or talk in
Skype/Pidgin etc. Sound and video are ok. Anyone knows how to solve this
problem?
