Well, that's a relief.
In answer to Fidel, Lucid doesn't have Gnome 3, but its on the horizon
and if and when Gnome 3 sees the light of day, if it were to have to
control buttons on the left, the decision would seem to be presaged by
Ubuntu. That would have been sensible, whereas it makes no sense just
for branding's sake, unless it were to make things easier overall.
I don't want to "leave the fold", but this sort of thing would make me
scream all the way to Parsix or Debian. If its the new default in
Gnome 3, such a move would help me get used to impending changes.
In response to Henry, just let's say at 63 I've become stuck in my
ways. I could probably get used to left sided control buttons but I
don't want to have to do so, unless its a universal change that takes
place among all Gnome-centric distros.
But that's just me being a sad old b****r I guess.....
