driver support

Hi.
About the USB flash memories, memory sticks and everything like them, as I
know, there shouldn't be any problem.
The only thing that Ubuntu does not support is running Lunchpad from U3
Flash memories. Because the Lunchpad is an exe file, which is for windows.
About the modem, if it is a fax/modem(for dial-up), Ubuntu may not support
it. You should search if there is a Linux driver for it or not. And also
search forums to see if setting up the driver is easy or not. For my
notebook, I couldn't set up my HDAudio modem.
When I setup modem, the sound goes and when I uninstall modem the sound
comes back!
But about LAN modems, Ubuntu has not any problem in recognizing them.
