Hi.<br>About the USB flash memories, memory sticks and everything like them, as I know, there shouldn't be any problem.<br>The only thing that Ubuntu does not support is running Lunchpad from U3 Flash memories. Because the Lunchpad is an exe file, which is for windows.<br>
About the modem, if it is a fax/modem(for dial-up), Ubuntu may not support it. You should search if there is a Linux driver for it or not. And also search forums to see if setting up the driver is easy or not. For my notebook, I couldn't set up my HDAudio modem.<br>
When I setup modem, the sound goes and when I uninstall modem the sound comes back!<br>But about LAN modems, Ubuntu has not any problem in recognizing them.<br><br clear="all">Hamed Abdy<br><br>
