[lucid] smb failing - drives cpu to 100%

Thanks Fred. I've been working on this most of the day (see 532024). Odd
that you only got 2%. Parallel bug is:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/530605/
[gvfs-mount doesn't always work. gvfsd-smb starts using 100% cpu.]
 & I suspect that they probably the same.
