Option to use /dev values instead of UUID values

You'll have to provide at least some kind of case where this would be at 
all desirable.. Your example of easier to edit by hand does not count. 
People editing by hand who don't know how to quickly copy/paste are 
exactly the kind of people who are very apt to completely cook their 
system and need specialized help to resolve.  That goes tripple for 
people with multiple boot partitions.  The UUID system is the best we 
have of making such systems more resilient.
