Testing Lucid Lynx - lost sound applet

Hi All

I am testing out Lucid Lync and encounter 2 problems:
1. I lost the sound applet in the notfification area and can not find it to
restore
2. I normally login automatically, but after a couple of minutes the session
logs out. After logging in from GDM again, this problem does not occur any
longer.
