Karmic upgrade to Lucid + "Install Release" on the System menu?

Here is an odd one. Just did an online update on a karmic sytem to lucid
& I notice the following menu in System|Administration|Install RELEASE.
Looking at the menu profile it shows:
ubiquity --desktop %k gkt ui

Bring it up and it shows the same as the liveCD install process:

Welcome
Ready to install? Once you answer a few questions, the contents of the
live USB can be installed on this computer so you can run Ubuntu at full
speed without the USB.

Huh?  What the heck is this? Anyone else seen the same?
