     Here is from top on my 64 bit Desktop:

Mem:   5867892k total,  1628736k used,  4239156k free,   252888k buffers
Swap:  1959920k total,        0k used,  1959920k free,   701448k cached

I have 6 million bytes of RAM installed. Works great!
