Try StreamTuner (in the repositories, so you can install it from the
Ubuntu Software Centre).
It's a bit old - you could also try StreamTuner 2 from here:
http://crenk.com/streamtuner-2-internet-radio-browser-for-ubuntu/
Both programs just kick off whatever media player is selected in their
options. Most Linux media players can play Internet Radio - XMP, Beep,
etc.
