Alain, I've the same chipset on an HP G60-530US notebook and have no
issues at all with graphics acceleration (compiz):

Can you open the terminal and provide the same section from:
$ sudo lspci -v
$ lsmod |grep intel

This is the output from that last on my system:
$ lsmod |grep Intel
