  one thing i've noticed recently is that firefox doesn't seem to work
properly with the clipboard and copying short URLs from bit.ly.  i
tweet a fair bit and (unsurprisingly) i like to compress long URLs.

  if i use firefox and bit.ly to shorten a URL, then try to copy that
shortened URL to the clipboard, it's astonishingly unreliable.
chromium, on the other hand, works reliably.  i have no idea what's
going on there.
