sudo apt-get install compiz-gnome compiz-fusion-plugins-extra
compiz-fusion-plugins-main compizconfig-settings-manager

System > pref >> compizconfig

do whatever you like...

to get some job done just <SUPER> E will do a amazing quick wall of
workspaces
