You want to search yourself? (SCNR)

If you want to search the list archive, you could add 
"site:lists.ubuntu.com" to the terms in your google search.

Is this <http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-2250> the 
card you are talking about? If it is, it should be partially (digital TV 
only) supported because Ubuntu 10.04 uses the 2.6.32 kernel which is 
probably the one which has the necessary driver included. Sorry, I don't 
have that card, so I can't actually check it. But if you want something 
analog from that card, you are probably out of luck.
