Stick with it rbv!  I am totallly new to Ubuntu and had a lot of  
trouble setting up Ubuntu for my students.  I spent most of last month  
trying to figure it all out.  I found that there were a lot of very  
helpful and knowledgable peeps on this forum.  Just be patient and try  
to figure out one problem at a time.
