How to login in Ubuntu 9.10 Live CD ?

this question pops up once in a while here, it is not the intended 
action to have the live cd ask for a username and password.  dont ask me 
why this works, it does, and i have no idea why...... burn the cd at a 
slower speed than what you did.  there was possibly a bad burn.  have 
had this problem on other distros live cd's and once with ubuntu as well 
and re burning slower has worked.
