I was deliberately vague in order to avoid presenting arguments for
further flames! However, it seems that I underestimated the
flammability of OMG ANTISHETZZZZMMM or the other, no less rational NO
DEFEND USELF AGAINST ROKKKETZZ side of the coin. Extremists, fools,
and armchair generals on both sides of the fence.

Exactly, everyone is entitled to his opinion and we are much better
not giving our mutually-exclusive political opinions in Linux-related
forums. Which is exactly why the Mint dev should not have posted what
he did to the official Linux Mint website. So long as he did, however,
I respect his wishes and encourage others to as well.
