Hello,
if you don't have alternate connection to the internet from this
machine, you may find chapter "No Alternate Internet Access" from [1]
useful. (I assume, you can download some necessary files with device you
sent you post from).
If you have alternate internet access on your machine, you will find
instructions on how to enable the driver + firmware in and from this
link too.

Try to compare what you did with instructions from [1]. If you did
something different, I suggest to revert that and to follow procedures
described i.e b43-fwcutter (from install CD) should do the job with
driver and firmware, no manual copying to the /lib/firmware.
