My xxxx.png screenshot readable by Windows?

afaik, windows does recognize .png files, but I've had similar problems
with pictures taken with the screenshot app.

you can simply open it with image viewer, and go File > Save As... and
save it as a .jpg file. Tested and works:

        Before:
                $ file '~/Pictures/test.png' 
                /home/andrew/Pictures/test.png: PNG image, 543 x 126,
                8-bit/color RGB, non-interlaced
        After:
                $ file '~/Pictures/test.jpg'
                /home/andrew/Pictures/test.jpg: JPEG image data, JFIF
                standard 1.01
