Not only that; when you purge the broken packages, it also removes
rhythmbox and:

Completely removed the following packages:
ifuse

Removed the following packages:
exaile-plugin-ipod
gtkpod
gtkpod-aac
gvfs-backends
libgpod-common
libgpod4
libiphone0
python-gpod
rhythmbox
rhythmbox-dbg

@Mark: I'd stay *way* away from this ppa install until the above issues
are sorted out. It could be that it's just the karmic packages that have
problems, but I have issues when a PPA breaks standard sytem packages
(rhythmbox etc).
