Best 3d graphics card?

Wow it depends on budget and slot. For PCI-X Any
nVidia video cards seem to work best for me. Each
card I am listing, I have tested myself with Debian
and Ubuntu GNU/Linux with the free and proprietary
drives, sad to say they worked best with the proprietary
drivers. The cards are the 8800GTX, 9800 GT,
9800GTX, 9800GTX+, 9800 GX2 currently using
two 9800 GX2, in SLI with no problem. and the
Quadro FX 3400, FX 4500 .

I've used the cards with http://www.blender.org/
and the free GNU/Linux version of  Houdini
http://www.sidefx.com/ and Works with all the 3D fps
games you can get from playdebs
http://www.playdeb.net/updates/Ubuntu/all/?category=FPS
