I'd like to be able to get network drives working. The sad thing is I
can get my Ubuntu box to see my laptop but I can't get Windows on my
laptop to see my Ubuntu box. I've been using the Filezilla Server,
which is nice, on my Windows Vista laptop and connecting to it from my
Ubuntu box with the Filezilla client to transfer files back and forth.

They're both configured for the same workgroup, both are on the same
network behind the same router and connected to the same network hub
and neither have an active firewall. Windows laptop can't see the
Ubuntu box but my Ubuntu box can see my Windows laptop and access my
shared drives easily. This is so sad. Now I remember why my friend
went 100% Mac and why I dumped XP on this desktop and want 100%
Ubuntu. If WINE could run all my games perfectly Windows would be
long gone from all of my systems.

Any advice?
