Thanks for the info, and the link to the specs. I've just been snooping
around in my hidden folders, and have realized that while the
configuration file goes in the ~/.config folder, the software report
itself should be being placed in the ~/.dpkgSoftwareReport folder I have
been keeping the configuration file in so far.
That eliminates the need for the configuration file, unless I want to
give my users the ability to move the location of the generated report
files for some reason.
