I forgot one thing. If the drive has data worth a lot of money then
you should go to a pro. They can do stuff like take the disk out of
the HD and put it in one that has good working parts to get your data.
This is not something most people can do at home. The more you play
with fixing the drive the more chance you have of loosing your data.
