Nautilus/Compiz - no longer launches File Manager, Recycle Bin, Desktop file icons

Before I tried reinstalling Nautilus/Dbus, I found related bug -
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/461418 and *deleted
~/.local/share/gvfs-metadata* as suggested, which worked.
