Lucid not stable before end of april

Lucid is not stable.
It might well be stable in the doesn't-fall-over sense of the word
(though I suspect this is far from a universal truth), but until it
hits freeze it is not stable in the 'unchanging' sense of the word.
And with changes of the sort associated with the development of a major
release come pretty large and hidden bugs. Bugs maybe in software
you're not using, affecting features you don't want or deprecating
functions you don't use, but bugs nontheless. Part of the point of an
Alpha release is to warn people that bugs *will* find their way into
the code.
But thank you for the testing, and especially for doing so on real-life
hardware.
