Problem Installing Ubuntu Dapper [:(]

I need to install ubuntu dapper on current system for installing
marie which is component-based approach to build *robotics* software
systems.

But i have problem installing it on current systems. Its booting but not
detecting cd drivers.
Its struck there poping message about error finding cd Drivers.
I then went for network installation in that case its not detecting my
ethernet card.

Please help me out with installation. I Have no floppy drive on my set.
