My computer is a wreck?

The following issue reminded me of my problem. Mine seemed to be worse. Is it a boot issue??? Is it pertaining to the problem of the live cd, "Ubuntu 10.10.iso"? My computer seemed to be locked up and I couldn't get it boot up at all. Jim
PS Happy New Year to everybody there!

The problem is that after Wubi installs it asks for a reboot. A warm boot of
the system and selecting Ubuntu produces a black screen (no vid) at some
point through the bootup sequence. I'm trying to capture exactly where that
is occurring at the moment.
