This would be unfortunate, because that's the exact sequence that activates
a host switch on the KVM switches I have.  And the KVM would win.

Of course, these seem to be going out of fashion -- at least mine which
switch
PS/2 and VGA signals are.  Are there HDMI/USB KVMs?
