I did not say that it was deliberate although they made some change in the
application that triggered the problem. The problem has existed since the
release after 9.0.2 and to my knowledge, they have not fixed it so that the
current release doesn't crash WindowsXP.  They probably think it is not 
their problem to fix and think that either Microsoft or Sun (now Oracle) 
should fix it.
