Ubuntu or Red-Hat for servers?

I've used RH clone CentOS on my servers, and have enjoyed Ubuntu on my
desktops. However, there's a strong following for whatever distro upon
which you land.
While this is in no way an exhaustive list, the questions to ask
yourself include:
1) What am I going to be 'serving'
2) Do I need *Very* current releases of things like PHP, MySQL, etc...
3) Do I value stability and longevity over cutting or bleeding edge
If the answer to 3, above, is yes, then you're probably going to be
happier with RHEL or CentOS (if you don't need a professional support
contract with RH) or Debian Stable.
