Please tell me you don't consider yourself a sysadmin of any description?
Regardless of whether this 'supergrub' does or does not work what actions do
you think it could carry out that someone of suitable knowledge would not be
able to do?

Indeed the live CD technique shown above with the bind'd /dev filesystem to
a chroot will work fine for the majority of situations.

The very fact you mixed up ext4 which is a filesystem with grub2 which is a
bootloader application leaves the rest of your so called technical details
suspect...

Try not to mislead people with a subject you do not understand the basics of
nevermind the fundamentals...

Now back to lurking for a while ;-)
