System Shutting Down Unexpectedly (Ubuntu 10.04)

Uptime is now 23 hrs since I changed rc2.d to kill the acpi control script.

It's time to suspect that acpi (perhaps kernel/bios interface) is the culprit.

Ideas for more trouble shooting or bug reports anyone?
