mounting of ntfs file system

friends, i have 2 os installed on my desktop , first is windows ,second is
ubuntu 9.
i have 4 drive  of 315 gb of ntfs fil;e system and 5 gb dedicated to the
ubuntu
when i tried to mount ntfs file on ubuntu  throgh xterm envirement as
through command      MOUNT /DEV/SDAX
 i got messege  "ONLY ROOT CAN DO THAT"
so what is the solution of this problem using XTERM with proper command
