Printer connection failed after power outage

It may be worth a shot to just remove/re-add the printer as you were
thinking. It doesn't take long, and it would give you another data point
when trying to figure out your issue.

I'm not sure what else you could do besides that. I mean, depending on
how your network is set up, and how well protected the PC is, there
could have been some data corruption during the unexpected
power-cycling. Somebody else should have some input on the matter
though.
