Multiple Problems all at Once.

Everything is new.
I chmod the fetchmailrc and then each of the other fetchmail files. The
fetchmail file through after a reboot was set back to the settings I had
just changed it from but on the next reboot - it was fine.
So that is now working.
After some reading and following some links I found some answers to the
.dmrc problem and got that fixed.
Still having some problems with the graphics though.
