Not that I am aware of. Went through all of the files & didn't see
anything obvious.
And why doesn't the bad script get deleted when Turbopint

Don't know. You're best bet is to ask on the TP forum, or send off an
email to the authors. Both are quite responsive. Either way, there is
definitely something wrong somewhere. My guess is that you may have
issues outside of TP -- on your system. My installs (Gnome) take only a
few moments. Perhaps it's a TP/KDE interaction issue?
