Happy Days! I figured out how to do the same thing on Vista! It is also
simple.
In Vista click on Control Panel and then Administrative Tools >>
System Configuration >> Startup >> move down to the line starting "HP
Wireless and click on the square box which has the checkmark in it. The
checkmark will disappear. Now your fixed up with both Vista and Ubuntu
and both have wifi.
I NEVER use windows but must say the Control Panel is pretty good in
Vista...
